About Avery

I've been working with kids (autism) for the last 3 years but have baby-sat, dog-sat, and house-sat for as long as I can remember. I have a degree in psychology and enjoy helping kids learn and grow through play, creativity, and everyday activities. Whether we're doing arts n crafts, playing board games, solving puzzles, or getting outside to burn some energy, I love creating a fun and positive environment for kids to feel comfortable and themselves in. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, safety is always a big priority for me, and I'm very comfortable with routines, household rules, meal prep, cleaning, and helping keep things running smoothly. I also really value communication and making sure parents feel updated and supported in whatever way works best for them. More than anything, I love building genuine connections with the kids and families I work with and being someone parents can truly rely on.
