I am a student at Mississippi state home for the summer. I study biomedical engineering and love all things math and science. I have a passion for working with children and have experience with children as young as 3 months old to 12 years of age. While at school I volunteer with an underprivileged youth mentorship program as well as a reading program at a local elementary school. I like helping to create environments that cultivate the academic growth of students. I have found so much joy in working with these children and watching them grow. I also have experience working with children in the foster care system and have found ways to connect even with children who may have different backgrounds than myself.
