About Averie

Hi, I'm Averie! I will be 20 this year. Working with kids has always been one of the biggest joys in my life! I got my start as an assistant teacher at my local dance studio when I was just 12, and by 16 I became a student teacher, helping kids individually and leading classes with ages ranging from toddlers to teens. I also started babysitting when I was 15 and have cared for children as young as a few months old all the way up to 15 years old. One of the families I work with welcomed me into their lives when their son was a newborn, and I've been with him ever since -- he's now four and it's been such a special experience to be part of his milestones. This past year I worked with a family of a 5-year-old 5 days a week. I'm patient, dependable, and caring, but more than anything, I truly enjoy building bonds with the kids I look after. I love creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where they feel comfortable and happy!
