About Lucy

Hi! My name is Lucy, I'm 24 years old and am originally from Rhode Island. Over the years, I have held various positions where I became adept at fostering relationships, offering solutions, and communicating empathetically. I began working with kids when I was 15 years old, babysitting for neighbors, friends or family. Shortly after graduating from The University of Tampa, I began my position as an assistant preschool teacher, primarily working with children from 18 months to 2 years old. In June 2022, I moved to San Diego and started my role as a nanny for two children, 6 & 7 months old. I cared for both children for a year until they began daycare. In my roles as an early childhood educator and caretaker, I've fostered productive, inclusive and safe learning environments, while caring for, managing, and educating many tiny humans. Some hobbies of mine include pottery, exercising, traveling and cooking.
