About Aven

Hello! My name is Aven, like Avenue, and I am a trustworthy, patient, nurturing, and growth-focused caregiver. Children bring me so much joy, and I take childcare very seriously! I focus on healthy communication and creating a safe, fun, warm, and welcoming space for children to blossom. I have around 20 years of experience in caregiving including caring for children of all ages, pets (I am allergic to dogs), homes, seniors, and people with disabilities of varying degrees. My favorite activities to do while caregiving include: playing board and card games, homework help and teaching new skills, cooking and baking, tangible arts and crafts like making bracelets and painting, exploring nature through walks and hikes, engaging in activities at zoos, planetariums, aquariums, libraries, trampoline parks, and beyond!
