About Ava

Hi! My name is Ava, and I'm a Social Work student at Grand Valley State University with several years of experience caring for children of all ages. I've worked as an assistant teacher in childcare centers with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, and I've also babysat school-age children in private homes. I love creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children can learn, play, and feel comfortable. I'm patient, dependable, and enjoy helping kids reach developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities and positive encouragement. I also have experience supporting children with ADHD and understand the importance of consistency and individualized care. I'm CPR certified and take pride in being someone families can trust. I'm available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and can start as soon as needed.
