About Ava

I started working with kids when I was in high school. I babysit regularly when I am in Nashville. I go to school at Connecticut College, where I volunteer at a pre school weekly. I have hosted a few singing events for the kids with my a Capella group there. I have taken multiple classes on human development, education, and psychology which help me work with kids to the best of my ability! My skills include safety awareness, emotional regulation, and entertainment. I am CPR certified and a safe driver if driving is needed. I will make sure kids feel safe and are under responsible supervision. Volunteering at a pre school has given me a lot of ways to help a kid who is upset regulate those emotions well and have the best day they can. I am a very musically inclined person, I have done musical theatre since I was 9 years old, and I am now the president of my a Capella group at campus. If your kid/kids love music or art, I can definitely help foster their creativity!
