About Ava

Over the past seven years, I've learned that the best tutoring goes far beyond improving a grade. Every student learns differently, and I enjoy taking the time to understand how each one thinks so I can explain concepts in a way that makes sense to them. Building genuine relationships with my students is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring. When students feel comfortable asking questions and know someone believes in them, they're more willing to take risks, work through challenges, and grow in confidence. My goal is to help students become independent, confident learners--not just for the next test, but for whatever comes next. I want every student to leave our sessions feeling more capable than when they walked in.
