About Fiona

Hello there! My name is Fiona and I am a high school teacher and cheer coach at a private school in Covington. I have taught Social Studies, Science and Theology and grades ranging 2-12. I have tutored all subjects including French and Spanish I as well. I believe students learn best when the teaching is engaging, positive and tailored for their style of learning. The best part is seeing my students come back with huge improvements in their grades and confidence! I have time this summer, which is a great time to get students prepared for the year ahead and preserve the information they have learned in the prior year. I also have twins who will be graduating next year! My skills include tailoring lessons to student's individual skills, style and level. I am patient and believe in positive reinforcement while challenging students to excel. In my spare time, I am a filmmaker and an acting coach.
