About Ava

Hi! My name is Ava and I am currently a Junior at the University of Utah studying Cell and molecular biology with a minor in Chemistry. I live in Salt Lake City, and have extensive experience working with children of all ages. I spent the summer after my freshman year of college nannying for a 2-month-old (3-10 hour days a week), and the remaining 2 days a week I cared for 2 and 5-year-old boys. This past summer, I lived in Italy, au pairing for a family with 2 and 6-year-old boys, teaching them english and providing childcare. I also work at a climbing gym and have experience coaching kids of all ages in rock climbing. I have my own car and love pets too! I am looking to provide tutoring and/or childcare a few afternoons or evenings a week. I specialize in math and science, and am passionate about both working with children and academics. In my spare time, I like to climb, snowboard, hike, read, listen to music, and cook.
