She was a phenomenal mandarin teacher. Through her diligent and caring efforts, I was able to earn As in each (3) college semesters of taking Mandarin. She took on a person who had no experience with Mandarin and transform them into a person who was able to Ace their Mandarin classes. Without her, I truly would not know where I would be with the language. From learning the basics like grammar and individual characters to full conversations and writing/reading simplified Mandarin she was there passionately helping me. I used to over write, saying the same thing over and over again that my papers were a mess. With her guidance and brilliant explanations I was able to understand the reasons behind each sentence and the purpose behind each paragraph. She guided me on and helped me understand how to actually write. With her help I received As in all of my writing classes (including business and elective classes). If you need tutoring in any subject please please please choose her. It was the best decision I ever made. I highly recommend her! She is extremely dedicated, thoughtful, empathetic and knows how to blend firmness with softness to create a wonderful learning experience.
