About Ava

Hi! My name is Ava and I am a UAB student currently in my second year studying psychology! I plan to go into OT school to become a pediatric occupational therapist. I have a a lot of experience working with children in daycares and in homes. I have been a mother's helper since 14 and at 16 worked at a daycare with early 2-year-olds and 5-6-year-olds. I also babysat some of my families at the daycare children at their homes. I am used to handling multiple children (twins and triplets included) in indoor and outdoor environments. I am also used to helping with educational activities from my time at daycare. I love to update families with fun activities or silly moments with the kids. I have my own transportation and am willing to help with pick up/drop off or any errands/activities that help lighten the load. I am comfortable making meals and helping clean up as well! I am very creative, loving and most importantly working with children is a passion of mine! Thank you!
