About Ava

Hi! My name is Ava D. and I am planning on returning in the fall as a Junior at MSUs James Madison College with a major in Social relations and Policy! I worked as a camp counselor the past two summers, with kids ranging in age from 5-16. I have previously worked as a slide attendant at a local pool so I am familiar with kids in rather stimulating and exciting environments. I also participated in my high schools trailblazer program where we travel to local elementary schools to work with students who need some extra assistance with a variety of things. I consider myself to be thoughtful, flexible, understanding, and attentive seeing as each and every kiddo has different needs! Some other fun facts about me are that I am a retired ice hockey player, I enjoy pottery, and I love all types of music! I recognize that life has lots of unexpected twists, and I am here to lend a hand where I can!
