Hi! My name is August, I have several years of hands-on childcare experience, beginning in 2021 when I started a babysitting service for low-income families in my community. Through this, I developed strong skills in creating safe, engaging, and supportive environments for children of various ages. I also grew up in a large household, which strengthened my patience, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple children at once. Professionally, I've worked as an Assistant Floater at KinderCare Preschool, supporting classrooms from infants through Pre-K, and as a Toddler Teacher, where I implement lesson plans, encouraged developmental milestones, and maintained a structured, nurturing environment. Currently, I work as a Behavioral Technician, working with children diagnosed with developmental disabilities (ASD, ADHD, etc.) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans, track progress, and support children in building communication, social, and life skills.
