Hi there! I am Athena and I am passionate about the special needs/differently able community. Though I am not differently abled myself, I have enjoyed being involved in the community since high school. Since then, I have volunteered with, coached, and taught individuals with special needs in various settings. Though most of the individuals I have worked with have been children, I also have experience working with differently abled adults through coaching special Olympics roller hockey. Additionally, I have worked as a summer camp counselor and paraprofessional for children with special needs in educational and camp settings.
