About Asia

Hi there!! My name is Asia, and I would absolutely love the opportunity to work with your family! I'm very comfortable around kids and have had a wide variety of experiences working with children. I grew up with a kindergarten teacher mom and loved volunteering in her classroom! Since then, I've worked in before- and after-school programs, summer camps, private swim lessons, babysitting, as a substitute for the SLC School District, as a school counselor intern at Elizabeth Academy, and in child welfare as a caseworker. Each experience has been unique and has helped me grow my skills, patience, and understanding when working with kids. Most importantly, I genuinely LOVE working with children! I'm positive, outgoing, hardworking, and kind. I love being involved-getting on the floor to play, helping them learn, or simply being someone they can talk to and hang out with. I'd love to get to know your family and see if I'd be a good fit! My availability is Tuesdays and Thursdays.
