About Ashton

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With a year of experience supporting elementary and middle school learners in math, history, test preparation, and study skills, I focus on building confidence rather than simple memorization. I create an engaging, patient environment by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting lessons to your personal interests. I assess your unique learning style through active observation, adapting my approach with visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions to suit your needs. Because I believe open communication is essential for progress, I prioritize building a collaborative relationship with both you and your family. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals and discovering the joy of learning together.
