I have over 15 years of experience supporting children in both the classroom and in-home. I hold a B. A. along with certifications for CPR and First Aid and Early Childhood Certification-Level 11 (NC). I've worked as a teacher in Early Childhood and Special Education. I've also worked as a full-time nanny. I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, dependable, and entertaining. I like working with kids because everyday brings new discoveries. I'm looking for a job that where I can form a meaningful connection with both the child and the family. I started working with kids when I was a teen babysitting and at summer camps and then started teaching once I became a mother. In my spare time, I like to read, garden, craft, and spend time outdoors with my family and dog. One thing you should know about me is that I care deeply about creating environments where children feel safe. My skills include creating appropriate routines, family communication, and adaptability.
