About Ashlyn

Unlocking a student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By observing how you interact with new material, I adapt my methods--whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to ensure you thrive. When concepts feel challenging, I break them into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to keep you engaged. I believe clear communication between us is essential to building the trust needed for your success. Witnessing your "aha!" moment when a difficult topic finally clicks is the most rewarding part of my work. With one year of experience supporting elementary students in subjects ranging from math and science to art and fitness, I am dedicated to your growth. I truly look forward to helping you reach your academic goals and celebrating your progress together.
