About Ashlyn

Hello, I'm Ashlyn! I'm from Michigan and will be relocating to Orlando in late June. I'm 34 years old and I've been working with children for over 15 years. Most recently, I was a nanny for a family with 3 children for 6 years. I've cared for newborns through school-age children. Prior to this position, I worked in Special Education for 6 years with children and young adults ages 2-26. I have a Bachelor's degree in Family Life Education from Spring Arbor University. I find educating and caring for children to be one of the most extraordinary experiences in the world. I provide encouragement, structure, and guidance, while promoting independence confidence, and creativity. I understand the importance of creating an environment that is nurturing and secure, but also promotes safety and discipline. I'm looking to begin work in Orlando in late June or beginning of July.
