I have not worked directly with a special needs individual but, I do have a younger sibling with a syndrome and I have spent a lot of time with her. I'm currently in nursing school and wondering about other possible educations such as physical therapy or occupational therapy with children diagnosed with certain special needs. I feel if I'm able to have a one on one and be a caregiver to a child with a disability it will be a great way to help me decide my future as well as learning a lot from the child and how to help them progress.
