I have two years of experience working in home care with disabled adults in their 30s. I am also a junior nursing student, and I have experience with patient hygiene care, g tubes, patient transfers, blood glucose monitoring, injections, medication administration, and charting medical information. I have clinical experience through the University of Massachusetts Boston at Spaulding Rehabilitation in Charlestown on a spinal cord rehabilitation floor and Boston Medical Center in Brighton on a medical surgical floor. This upcoming semester I will have rotations at Beth Israel on a labor and delivery floor and at the Veterans Association on a psych unit. I am passionate about caring for others, and I am open to working with any age groups and people with different special needs situations. I am open to learning new skills and applying my current skills from working in hospitals and in home-care!
