About Ashley

I bring experience in lifeguarding, childcare, and coaching. I learned to communicate clearly, practice patience, and encourage a warm environment for kids to learn and grow. This helped me understand how children think, learn, and respond. I have always had a heart to serve others and tutoring allows me to invest in students both personally and academically. I was homeschooled and started volunteering in childcare when I was 12 years old. I was personally a reluctant learner and struggled in certain subjects. However, with the help of tutors who met me where I was, I built confidence and advanced quickly. I hope to bring the same kind of support and encouragement to the students I work with. I approach students with grace and patience when they struggle, while also encouraging accountability and helping reluctant learners continue when difficult. I am personally invested and find joy in seeing students succeed and I hope to invoke excitement in learning.
