About Ashley

My name is Ashley. I have finished getting my teaching license in elementary education K-6 with an endorsement in special education K-12. I received my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in 2017. I am now at VCU pursuing my Ph. D in Special Education. I have worked with students who have autism and other disorders as a Special Education Teacher. I teach math to students who are in 7th-12th grade or ages 8-18 years old. In my previous role, I worked as a teacher who worked with students with severe autism. I have experience with using behavior management strategies and crisis intervention. I have, also, worked with students in a general education setting that was k-6. As a teacher, I have been finger printed and had a background check from Henrico and Hanover County which can be given if needed. I have an excellent driving record which can be provided as well. I am certified in giving medications, first aid, and CPR.
