10 years in senior care have taught me the importance of compassion. I am deeply motivated to support seniors' well-being and independence, and help make sure they have the best quality of life. I've found that my patience and friendly demeanor help me connect with those I care for. I have experience adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion or behavioral changes. I do respect each person's independence and promote it when applicable. I also can provide respite care, handle errands, shopping, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication management. I have worked in facilities with 30-80 residents as a Medication Technician. I am very big on communication with families. I am a certified Caregiver/MedTech, CPR & First Aid certified, & have my Fingerprint Clearance. I enjoy making a positive impact on people's lives, and I look forward to bringing my experience and dedication to your family!
