I have worked closely with families to support clients in stroke recovery, paralysis, special needs, and mental or developmental disabilities, including autism. I am CPR and First Aid certified and well-versed in assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support, including safe transfers and positioning. In addition to hands-on care, I assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and various household tasks to help keep the home safe, clean, and comfortable. I am comfortable following care plans, adapting to changing needs, and working collaboratively with families, therapists, and other care professionals when needed.

My husband and I hired Ashley to help me in my home with care giving as I’ve recently fell very ill and unable to care for myself. She worked for me for one week for three days that she agreed upon and on day 2 she was almost 3 hours late to her agreed upon time of coming to my home. Week two, she showed up one day and then the following day, knowing I was relying on her care, she first tried to say she would be two hours late and then just never showed up and then texted me to say she was quitting. Also knowing I had a very important doctor’s appointment she had agreed to take me to the following day. She left me in a scary vulnerable situation without any care and I ended up needing to call an ambulance. Please be very careful who you hire on this site because I can’t imagine doing this to another human being or having someone do this to my mother, sister or anyone in my family. Really disturbing.
