About Ashley

I'm passionate about unlocking each student's unique potential through personalized support. For the last 10 years, I've been helping elementary, middle, and high school students excel in math, English, test preparation, special education, and study skills. I hold a college degree and adapt my teaching to each student's individual learning style by listening, observing, and varying my strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests, celebrating small successes, and breaking down complex problems. Communication is essential, so I build trust through open dialogue with students and parents. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I have a car and am comfortable tutoring at your home, a center, library, or school. I would love to help your student succeed!
