About Ashley

Hello, I am currently a graduate student online, working on a Master's in Communicative Sciences and Disorders. I have experience as a SPED Teacher's Aid for 7 years and a Substitute Teacher for 2 years. I also have a Bachelor's in Speech and Language Pathology. I love working with kids and making learning fun. I fully believe in early intervention to assist students with the needed skills. It is said that learners need repeated exposure to skills before they memorize them. When it comes to my freelance jobs, I prefer written communication and rules (to reference later). My personality can be described as creative, calm, and honest. My skills include using creative ways to teach/reinforce skills, being able to break down steps, and empathy used for building rapport with the students.
