Create and maintain a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for both children during care hours Plan age-appropriate activities for each child, including arts & crafts, outdoor play, and story time Support early learning milestones for the 2-year-old (language, motor skills, potty training as needed) Assist the 6-year-old with homework, reading practice, and creative play Prepare and serve healthy snacks and meals Manage nap schedule for the toddler and downtime for the older child Handle school pickups and drop-offs (if needed) or accompany children to extracurricular activities Encourage positive sibling interaction and model conflict resolution when needed Keep play areas and children's belongings tidy and organized Provide daily updates to parents regarding routines, moods, and developmental progress
