About Abigail

With a BA in Child and Adolescent Development and a minor in Family Studies it is safe to say I enjoy working with children and their families! While I was achieving my degree at California State University, Northridge I worked at the Children's Center on campus were I acquired 4 semesters worth of experience assistant teaching preschool age children (2-5) in different classrooms. I also did a semester at the CSUN Lab school with older preschool aged children (4&5), where I worked as another assistant. I currently preform respite care for a family with a 3-year-old autistic child and have nannied for a family with a 4 and 9-year-old at the time for a complete summer. I also tutored 7th graders in high school, volunteered at a children's museum and I babysit a few families on occasion. Overall I truly enjoy caring for a working with young children and their families. I admire their excitement to learn and I enjoy engaging with them through activities and new experiences.
