About Ashley

I've always loved working with children, and my experience spans a little bit of everything-babysitting, part-time nannying, volunteering at church and soccer camps, and working in school settings. Most classroom experience is with Kindergarten through 3rd grade, but I've also worked closely with older kids in middle and high school. I typically support families in the area, though I've also traveled with families for trips when needed. I hold an undergraduate degree in Business and Education with a focus on early childhood and elementary education, and I'm currently pursuing my SLPA certification. I've also worked as a paraeducator in both elementary and high school settings, supporting students who are nonverbal, use equipment, have behavioral challenges, or are high-functioning and just need a little extra guidance. I've had the chance to work with children from a wide range of backgrounds in many different environments, and I love being a steady, supportive presence for families.
