About Ashley

Hi! I'm Ashley, an experienced elementary educator with over six years of working in a school setting, where I currently support students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 3rd grade. I have experience teaching reading, writing, early literacy, language development, and creating engaging, hands-on lessons that help children build confidence and enjoy learning. I also spent over two and a half years teaching Spanish-speaking students how to speak, read, and write in English through play-based learning and individualized instruction. As a fluent Spanish speaker, reader, and writer, I can also support bilingual learners or children who want to learn Spanish. My teaching style is patient, creative, and encouraging, using games, crafts, movement, and interactive activities to make learning fun while meeting each child's individual needs and learning goals.
