My name is Ashley and I am a high school English teacher. I absolutely LOVE every part of my job. I've had the opportunity to teach various levels of English, including: middle school, high school, special education, and college preparation courses. At the high school level, I currently teach AP Language and Composition, sophomore honors English, and AVID (a college preparation course), but in the past I've taught all levels, including credit recovery and remediation. I have continued my teaching experience through tutoring at Sylvan and Huntington learning centers, as well as leading school wide tutoring hours. I have also attended and led several study workshops for the SAT and ACT and College Board courses. I have been certified in CPR, first aid care, and suicide prevention. Helping students find the tools and confidence to become successful is incredibly important to me.
