About Ashley

I'm passionate about helping students unlock their full potential! My focus is on building confidence and fostering a love for learning, not just memorization. I vary my teaching strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples or their personal interests. I believe communication builds trust and a collaborative environment among student, parent, and tutor. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. With some college experience and one year of tutoring experience, I tutor Math, English, Test Preparation, and Study Skills for Elementary and Middle School students. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I am also CPR and First Aid trained. I'd love to help your student succeed!
