I am transitioning into elder care as part of a longer-term path toward nursing because caring for older adults aligns with my skills, values, and life experience. Professionally, I bring over a decade of experience managing people, schedules, and responsibilities, making me highly organized, dependable, and calm under pressure. On a personal level, I have supported my own parents through significant health challenges, including blindness and advanced Parkinson's, which shaped my patience, attentiveness, and approach to respectful, day-to-day care.
