I am new to professional caregiving, but I have valuable personal experience caring for family members. I cared for my mother for two years after she had a stroke, and I also supported my older brother during a 21-day hospital stay when he had no spouse or children to assist him. These experiences taught me the importance of patience, compassion, respect, and listening to a person's needs. I understand how important it is to help someone maintain their dignity, independence, safety, and comfort. I am currently pursuing my CNA certification. I recently successfully completed the practical Skills test and am continuing my studies to complete the remaining part of the CNA examination.
