About Asher
After spending the last eight months as a full-time live-in volunteer caretaker in a community for adults with developmental disabilities, I have learned that caretaking is what I was meant to do! Although that experience has come to an end as I go back to finish school, I hope to continue to develop these skills and use what I have already learned support families and individuals. As a student who intendeds on studying gerontology and social work, I have an interest in promoting independence and dignity for our older community members.
