About Ashanti

Hi, my name is Ashanti and I'm a responsible, creative, and caring college student with a passion for working with children and helping families feel supported. I'm currently a student at North Carolina Central University studying mass communications, and much of my experience has centered around leadership, mentoring, and community service with youth programs. I've worked closely with children through volunteer work at community centers, church activities, summer programs, and mentoring opportunities. I love creating fun, engaging experiences for kids whether that's helping with homework, arts and crafts, reading stories, outdoor activities, or simply making sure they feel safe, heard, and cared for.
