I am excited to learn about your kids and doing my best to make sure they have a great day! I babysat my neighbor's child when she was just a few months to 6 years old. As soon as I turned 18, I started volunteering at a daycare near my neighborhood when I lived in Orlando, FL for a little over a year before I moved to Portland, OR. I now volunteer in the pediatrics outpatient hematology/oncology and infusion clinic at a nearby hospital. I have always wanted to be around kids! I even want to be a pediatrician in the future. I love working on different arts and crafts with kids and seeing them grow!

We recently took an overseas trip and wanted to give the grandparents a well-deserved break over the weekends. Ashani was the perfect caregiver for our 4-year-old son! She was communicative, thoughtful, and made a real effort to understand our son’s routine and our parenting approach. Her experience showed in how she supported his impulse regulation and kept his days structured, safe, fun, and comforting. As first-time parents traveling without our son, we were understandably nervous—but Ashani gave us complete peace of mind. We trusted her fully and would absolutely have her care for our son again.
