About Asha

I'd describe my personality as adaptable, reliant, and engaging. I'm looking for a job that allows me to build a working relationship with a family to meet both the needs of the kids and the needs of the adults. I've been working with kids since college through internships and now in the field of education. In my spare time, I like to do crafts of all kinds (knitting, crocheting, block printing, beading, sewing, etc.). I also like to rock climb and explore tide pools at beaches in Bellingham. One thing you should know about me is I am an extremely patient person. I work in schools with high support needs students that require a lot of patients, adaptability, and understanding. This is something I pride myself on caring into all aspects of my life. My skills include fun and engaging play, behavior management, and art projects.
