About Arminda

I believe that every moment is a teachable moment. I teach through play. I've been taking care of children since I was 10 years old. I raised my sibling. I helped my sister through babysitting her children. I raised my own 3 children. They are young adults with careers and are living on their own. I started working at a Head Start in 1989. I have experience with infants to young children. I'm fluent in Spanish. Taking care of children is one of my passion. I can cook healthy meals for children. I have my B. A. in Child Development. I am current on my TB test, CPR certification and finger print clearance. My priorities are always babies/children's safety. I believe in always talking to them since they are born. I like to stimulate children's skills, crafts, reading and singing. I like to set goals for each child and also ask the parents if they have a goal or something that they would like for me to work with their child, so we are all in the same page (team work)
