About Ariel

Hello! My name is Ariel and I am entering my second year as a graduate student in a Speech-Language Pathology program. I focus on building communication skills with children that have developmental delays with a special interest in childhood literacy. I received my B. A. in Applied Linguistics in 2013. Since then I have worked as a 1st and 6th grade ELL teacher at a Mandarin/English bilingual private school. I have also worked as a 3rd grade ELL specialist for a Spanish/English bilingual school. I now have over six years of teaching experience. My areas of expertise include lesson planning, learning assessments, second language learning and childhood development.
