About Ariel

I am a compassionate, patient & creative childcare professional with 10+ years of experience caring for children newborn-12 years, including neurodivergent children and children with disabilities. I have taught in preschools, daycares, and camps; provided care for many families; and even toured social-emotional learning theatre programs to schools across Washington! Currently, I am a full-time Assistant Teacher at a disability-inclusive nature program serving 3-6-year-olds. In the fall, I will be starting the M. Ed. - Early Childhood Special Education program at UW, and l am looking for a part-time, daytime work where I can continue to connect with children while I earn my master's degree. In addition to childcare & teaching, I am also a professional performing artist! I am passionate about bringing my arts background to my work with children, through, song, dance, developmentally-relevant imaginative play, puppetry, and general creativity and silliness!
