Hi! I am seeking a part-time long-term nanny commitment. Taking care of children comes very naturally to me. After experimenting with other jobs after graduating college with a psychology degree, I found working with children one-on-one is a favorite. I have worked as a substitute teacher at a Montessori preschool for the past 3 years. I'm the go to babysitter for many of the families. Recently, I watched two brothers at the zoo. The 6-yr-old had his own desire of where he wanted to go. And it meant going fast. The 3-yr-old wanted to go slower and look at things. I balanced both of their needs. Most of this summer I took care of a 2 yr old. Daily arriving at 7 a.m. to welcome her "good morning," while her parents went to work. One morning, she sat her in swing and I rocked her gently back and forth while eye gazing with her. Gently it lulled her to feel safe. When she was ready I made her breakfast. I"m seeking to nanny an infant or toddler mornings or afternoons.
