I'm a proud new grandma and mom of 3 grown kids-2 sons and 1 daughter, so Legos, dinosaurs, superheroes, princesses, horses and StarWars were a big part of our lives. Born in Japan, raised in Vancouver Canada, I'm fluent in Japanese and bring a warm, multicultural outlook to childcare. I grew up with 6 sisters, so taking care of younger siblings was part of daily life-it taught me patience, teamwork, and independence early on. I hold a B. M. in Violin Performance from USC, where I met my husband, and I'm a certified Suzuki violin teacher with 30+ yrs teaching kids ages 2 -18. Teaching violin was one of my greatest joys-helping children grow confident and creative. After focusing on my real estate career, caring for my grandson reminded me how much I miss being with kids. I'm fun, active, nurturing, love nature, baking, and cooking foods from around the world, and adore animals. Seeking part-time nanny/babysitting work doing what I love most-caring for children with warmth and joy.
