I have a few different areas of expertise with children. I have babysat and nannied for several families, including my own, for more than 10 years. I have 6 years of experience with children 10 and under and 4 years of experience with children 11 and older. Alongside my experience with caring for children in their own homes, I also have experience in teaching and individual tutoring. I have been tutoring in K-12 English, K-10 Math and Sciences, and K-12 social studies. Additionally, I spent a year and a half as a long-term substitute teacher. During this time I spent months teaching Middle School English, Middle School Explorations, High School Study Skills, High School Video Production, and High School Psychology, while also aiding core studies teachers. Overall, I am a well-rounded caregiver. As a child of a single mother, I recognize the need families may have for additional assistance. They say it takes a village to raise children, and I enjoy being a part of the village.
