Areli has been our nanny & homeschool teacher for 11 months. She had to learn how to integrate into a very structured household & learn to be a Montessori teacher in short order. She rose up to the challenge, while providing a loving nurturing presence. It was a delight seeing her help the children (ages 4 and 6) navigate through learning milestones, and effortlessly transition to being their friend playing made up games with them. She quickly picked up the Montessori methods and the philosophy. She was always willing to implement anything new we wanted her to try, whether it was an organizational system or a parenting tip we learned from a book! We also appreciated being able to have candid conversations with her, especially that it was two-way, with Areli often giving us important feedback about the kids that we hadn't recognized. We have really been grateful for Areli providing the support when the kids were forced to stay home, readying them for their return to school.
