About Arcadia

I am creative, positive, and caring. I love working with kids because of their boundless curiosity, their innate problem solving skills, and their belief that they can do all things. In my experience kids are some of the smartest people I've met. I hope to work for families that value nature and time away from screens. I see so much value in spending time outside, talking with friends, cooking, and using our hands to build a mind-body connection. I started working with kids when I was a kid! I have 6 siblings and grew up with kids always running around. In high school I taught free dance classes in my community center. Since then I've worked for family's in my hometown and have mainly done date night babysitting in the city! I love to read and bake. I am an avid knitter. I love going hiking and spending time outside. My skills include time management, organization, written and verbal communication, and problem solving. I also have my CPR/AED and FA certification
