I am joyfully caring for an older woman on hospice and another elderly woman who is bedridden. I have been with each family for one year. Prior to my current employment, as named above, I was joyfully caring for an older woman with Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer's. I was with her until three months before she passed, as the family needed to put her in a medically supervised home for those with advanced Alzheimer's. I was with the family for over five years. I have been attending UNM since the Fall of 2018. I have been on the Dean's List every semester. I am a double major: 1) LAIS/BIS and 2) Fine Arts/Dance with a concentration in Flamenco. In the fall of 2022, I graduated with the LAIS/BISI. I am now a graduate student in the OILS College (Organization Information Learning Sciences). I am near completing my Fine Arts/Dance degree with a concentration in Flamenco. I have tutored students in the past. I am interested in tutoring students who are in grade school.

April is absolutely amazing at everything she does! She is a loving, kind, compassionate, warm, intuitive, bright and loyal woman. I have known April for over 13 years. Watching her with children is a joy. Her patience is a quality I admire greatly. I first met April when she began teaching my daughter tap at age 3. I was so inspired I started taking a tap class, then yoga, then restorative yoga and bar. She is one of the most compassionate and loving people I know. I can't say enough about her ability to teach and inspire those around her. I would certainly give her 10 stars if that was an option!
