(OVERNIGHT/EARLY MORNING ONLY) I started working with children somewhat unexpectedly, but quickly realized it came naturally to me. I'm patient, attentive and genuinely enjoy getting on a child's level, listening to them and understanding their personality. I want to be the kind of adult I would have appreciated having when I was younger, someone who listens, provides guidance and creates structure while still allowing a child to be themselves. I respect each family's routines and parenting style and want to support the parents while providing thoughtful, dependable care. I'm very open to constructive criticism and clear communication. If there's ever something you'd like me to do differently, I appreciate being told and have no problem adjusting. I care about the little things and want children to feel safe, heard and comfortable while helping them become more independent. I also value building a genuine connection with the families I work with and becoming someone they can trust.
